Saltire Tyre Recycling has been established since 2000 and started the business by collecting used tyres for disposal and reclamation with 2 vehicles. We are now at the forefront of tyre collection and reclamation in the UK. Our fleet of 17 vehicles consisting of Sprinter Vans, 7.5 tonne and 17 tonne HGV collect tyres in all four corners of the UK. Our dedicated team of 40 employees ensure we provide a reliable service and enable us to collect over 8OOO tyres a day from our database of over 3000 customers.
We aim to provide the most professional, guaranteed, long term scrap tyre collection service and used tyre disposal route for all customers wishing to be legally responsible for the disposal of their scrap tyres in an environmentally friendly way.
The company's aim is to provide an environmentally acceptable solution in the controlled disposal of used passenger car, van, truck and agricultural tyres. The principle operations include the national collection of used tyres from tyre wholesale and retail service outlets, sorting the tyre casings and recycling those casings which satisfy demanding quality specifications.
